Founded by Angel Lasalle, a DCFS Illinois Licensed childcare provider with a deep passion for early childhood development, our daycare is nestled in the heart of the Marquette Park neighborhood in Chicago, IL. What started as a personal calling has grown into a trusted home for families across the community.

Meet Angel Lasalle Gavin
Hello! My name is Angel LaSalle Gavin, and I am the proud owner and operator of Dream Big-Little One Home Daycare. As a DCFS-licensed Illinois Childcare Provider with over 8 years of experience, I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
At Dream Big-Little One, we believe that every child deserves individualized attention, encouragement, and opportunities to reach their full potential. Through hands-on learning, creative activities, structured routines, and meaningful play, we help children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love for learning.
Our program is designed to support children socially, emotionally, physically, and academically while providing families with dependable, high-quality childcare they can trust. Whether you’re working, attending school, or managing a busy schedule, you can have peace of mind knowing your child is in a loving and supportive environment.

Meet Ms Vanessa Williams
Ms. Vanessa Williams, affectionately known as “Granny” by our daycare children and families, is a valued member of the Dream Big-Little One Home Daycare team. Before dedicating her time to childcare, Vanessa enjoyed an impressive 41-year career with the Federal Reserve Bank, where she built a reputation for professionalism, dedication, and excellence.
Today, she brings that same commitment, patience, and nurturing spirit to our daycare family. Vanessa has a special gift for making children feel loved, safe, and supported. Her warm personality, gentle guidance, and grandmotherly care have earned her the nickname “Granny,” a title she proudly embraces.
Working alongside our team, Vanessa helps create a welcoming, family-oriented environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Her years of experience, wisdom, and genuine love for children make her an invaluable part of the Dream Big-Little One Home Daycare family.
